Sundays are hard for me too. I think because I get a bit bored. Of course, I don't start out my day very great. We are always rushing to get out the door to church on time, so breakfast is usually a nutrigrain bar or a granola bar, and by the time church is over, I'm ready to tackle Miss B and steal all of her goldfish crackers.
Lunch is late, and then dinner is just a few hours later. We also have Sundaes on Sunday, to make the day seem more special to the boys because they get so bored on Sundays. That makes my goal of ice cream only twice a week harder, so I am going to have to give up my Sunday Sundae (don't worry, I'll let the kids have theirs still).
I'd recommend that as far as trying to make some changes for Sunday eating, maybe have lunch or dinner be light. Something salady, or a sandwich for one or the other.
Try to make your snacks healthy ones. You can eat a ton of veggies (I know, yuck right?) and not use nearly the calories that you would use eating a ton of junk food. I'm probably not much help.
If it makes you feel better, I ate four white chocolate Lindt truffles today, despite fighting the urge to do so. I have a long way to go!

I find that I always want to make the richest foods on sunday afternoons. Yesterday, I made a chocolate layer cake with chocolate icing. Yeah, I ate it too.
The best way for me to not snack is to plan the whole day. Crockpot something. Plan my snacks well and eat something lighter for dinner.
I remember this one plan called Body for Life. You ate really well 6 out of 7 days. Then on the 7th day, you could eat whatever you wanted, within reason. He said that eventually you would not like the way you felt at the end of day 7 and your eating habits would start to be more like the other days of the week. But that day would always be there so you could have your chocolate cake with ice cream. I never tested it. But I have always found that if I deny myself too long, that I end up binging HUGELY. So, I try to take things in small doses, infrequently.
